Presented is a Cleveland Cavaliers Wine basketball jersey used by former Cavaliers star and the NBA's all-time Scoring King, LeBron James, in a game against the Washington Wizards on Nov. 11 during the 2016-17 NBA season, when James became the youngest player in NBA history to record 27,000 career points. The milestone came late in the first quarter; with the Cavs trailing 21-16, James sank a three-point shot with 4:21 left in the quarter and 03.7 seconds left on the shot clock to bring the Cavs within two points. The shot moved James to 27,002 career points; at only 31 years old at that time, James surpassed the great Kobe Bryant as the youngest player to record 27,000 career points by 1 ½ years while becoming the 10th player in NBA history to reach that milestone. While Bryant enjoyed the personal achievement, the Cavaliers would go on to defeat the Wizards, 105-94, with LeBron recording a double-double and finishing the game with 27 points, 5 assists, and 10 rebounds.
The offered jersey features all lettering and numbering in tackle twill. The front left tail of the jersey contains an Adidas size "XL" manufacturer's patch with an attached "LENGTH +2" flag adjacent to an "EVERY PLAYER. EVERY GAME." tag serial-numbered "CCA04428." The Adidas patch has been labeled "11/11 27K" in black ink by an unknown hand. The hem of the front left tail is embroidered with a yellow patch labeled "All for one. One for all." An NBA Logoman patch rests on the back of the jersey above the player's nameplate, and the back of the jersey's collar contains a gold Championship tag. Attached to the inside back of the jersey's collar is a size "XL2" tag. LOA from NBA/MeiGray (CCA04428), who have conclusively photo-matched the jersey to James' milestone moment when he became the youngest player in NBA history to record 27,000 career points.
